The Long Road to Resettlement

Introduction United Nations House Scotland, in collaboration with Médecins sans Frontières, hosted “The Long Road to Resettlement Conference” on the 20th of September at Paterson’s Land Edinburgh university, with an audience of over one hundred and fifty attendees. WFUNA’s Sixth Human Rights Youth Program

From the 25 – 29 July 2016, I attended WFUNA’s Human Rights Youth Program at the United Nations in Geneva as a representative of UNA-Scotland. The program was a fantastic way to end my time at UN House Scotland, where I had been working as an intern since February. The program has been running for six years and is dedicated to building the capacity of young people working in the UNA network to engage effectively with UN human rights mechanisms and implement human rights projects in their communities.
