UNHS Resident Interns, Bella and Jackie, celebrated International Women’s Day in the Scottish Parliament building with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, Presiding Officer Alison Johnstone MSP, and other prominent women’s rights activists, at the Scottish Women’s Convention (SWC).
The convention offers a platform for women to come together and voice their insights on the state of gender equity, highlighting recent and past successes, ongoing issues, and the directions in which they seek to advance gender equity in the various facets of personal life, government and society.
