Scottish Languages Parliamentary One Pager

With regard to the International Day of Mother Languages, we at United Nations House Scotland and United Nations Association St Andrews recognise the need to safeguard and support indigenous languages.


The Scottish Languages Bill is currently in Stage 1 at Scottish Parliament and seeks to support this mission by regularising Gaelic and Scots. Read more about the implications of this legislation in our Parliamentary One Pager (POP), as well as the Bill's applicability to higher education in our Micro-POP.
