In January 2018, UNHS co-hosted with ICAN a PrepCon on the issue of Weapons of Mass Destructions in the Middle East.
We continue to see the relevancy of issue, and this year the United Nations in New York will be hosting a conference on the Middle East from 18th November until the 22nd of November. The Conference will focus on the Establishment of a Middle East Zone Free of Nuclear Weapons and Other Weapons of Mass Destruction and is being presided over by Ambassador Sima Bahous of Jordan.
