The United Nations House Scotland (UNHS) seminar series are closed events bringing together a range of experts and stakeholders to communicate and engage on a particular issue in a respectful environment under the Chatham House Rule.  The main aim of the seminars is to facilitate constructive dialogue between policy influencers, community influencers and local experts so that possibilities for peaceful resolutions of conflict might be advanced.

Although conversations, in themselves, do not make peace, the organisers and participants of the seminars share a strong belief that discourse is an important pathway to the peaceful resolution of conflict and societal growth.  These seminars offer the invited experts, humanitarian practitioners and stakeholders the opportunity to share and enrich their expertise and their understandings of the issues.

At the end of each seminar, a report is produced by civil UNHS, which outlines the findings to contribute towards a pathway to peace.

We invite you to read past reports.  If and when appropriate, please share with your colleagues in order for this work to continue to create pathways to peace.

If you would like to contribute to our seminar series, donations help us in making these possible.

Are you interested in volunteering your time?  We have intern positions that are available from time to time.
