IPPNW will be hosting an important web event, "Eliminating the Existential Threat of Nuclear Weapons" September 30, at 11 AM EDT.
It will feature Rotary President Shekhar Mehta, Red Cross President Peter Maurer and UN Under Secretary General Izumi Nakamitsu.
The event is co sponsored by the International Council of Nurses, the International Federation of Medical Student Associations, the World Federation of Public Health Associations and the World Medical Association.
