UN House Scotland has produced a parliamentary one-pager on banning conversion therapy in Scotland. The Scottish Government announced in November 2021 that they are forming an expert group on banning conversion therapy and are aiming to introduce this legislation by the end of 2023. The attached one-pager summarises why the Scottish Government should take this action in creating a ban, as well as what this ban should include. This information is in consultation with the Equality Network and outlines how conversion therapy is in violation of human rights.
